This wind-defying, lone tulip in a sea of lily of the valley and scrappy spring grass was inspirational! Easter egg nod to the robin that was hiding in the grass, bottom left.

Linocut - Powder Blue Ink on Indigo Fabric.

Inspired by a unit highlighting a Canadian woodwork engraver, my students and I made individual linocut prints on fabric and paper prints framed in fabric. The artwork was on exhibition at The Textile Museum of Canada in 2009.
